Privacy Policy

Otto is a personal Gmail-reading assistant built for individual, private use. This page explains what Otto does with your data.

What Otto accesses. Otto reads Gmail data (such as messages and labels) only after you explicitly grant access through Google's own sign-in and permission screen. Otto only acts on the Gmail account you connect it to.

What Otto does with your data. Data read from Gmail is used solely to perform the actions you ask Otto to do — for example, summarizing, searching, or organizing your own email. Otto does not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, and does not use your email content to train any model.

Storage. Otto is designed to process data on demand rather than build a persistent copy of your mailbox. Any temporary data used to complete a request is not retained longer than needed to do so.

Your control. You can revoke Otto's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access immediately stops any further use of your Gmail data.

Contact. Questions about this policy can be sent to beau.bertke@gmail.com.

Terms of Service

Otto is provided as a personal-use tool, as-is and without warranty of any kind. By connecting your Google account to Otto, you agree to the following:

Continued use of Otto after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
